Google Pages is a bit different from Myspace.
Myspace is, as I said, a social network. You create a profile, fill it with information about yourself, decorate it a bit, litter it with annoying things such as music and videos if you so choose (please don't
), and so on. You can then connect to old friends, find new friends who have similar interests, or even befriend bands that you enjoy. Your friends can then keep up with you by reading your blogs, looking at bulletins you post, or messaging you.
Google Pages is, from what I can tell, a simplified website creator. Sure, you could post your e-mail address for people to contact you with, or use something like a message board or guestbook (if Google Pages allows that), but Myspace is designed specifically for social networking.
