Play: | Play this D-Mod right now in your web browser! (More Info) |
Storyline: I could not find one. You can apply some sun burning oil onto some ladies - and on some poles and tables too, since those have the same script - have a conversation with a guy about drinking and with an old man about turning walls into ducks and you can read a letter.
Map and graphics: The map is quite large, but also quite empty. No new graphics.
Music: There is one midi in the sound folder, but I did not hear any music while playing this D-mod.
Good: Some flames changes into bonca’s when entering the screen, but since the bonca’s are so small, they look like jumping sand fleas and since this D-mod, or at least the title, is beach related, that makes sense and is funny to see. There is a duck in a pond – that disappears when you enter the screen.
Not so good: The D-mod comes with a saved game. Tiles do not blend. There are hardness errors. Windows have warps. A woman turns into a pig, another one in a duck and yet another one in two ducks. A poor duck got stuck in a wall. The text is running too fast so you have trouble following the conversation. You are warped into a warp when entering a house, so you can never actually set foot in the house, but, when you have changed that in the editor and you then finally enter the house, all the walls and some statues turn into ducks: which is funny in a way, if it were not that at that point the game freezes. When you exit another house, the game freezes too. When you exit the cave with the hearts, the game freezes since the warp has the heart.c script. When you finally manage to get to the dragon, you die because you are standing on spikes, but, if you manage to kill the dragon, you die too.
Overall: An uninteresting D-mod with no story and lots of bugs.
Fit for: If you know what Baywatch 1 was about, you should know what this one is about.
