I'm not interested in golf, but I know of Tiger woods (who doesn't?) and I found out something about his recent activities that surprised me. The first thing I found out about was that he'd be taking part in a celebrity stock car racing event here in NZ that was for charity. Then I found put that his caddy is a NZer and that Tiger went to his caddy's wedding in a small NZ town called Kumeu. Then I learned that the day before the wedding Tiger and his caddy calmed any pre-wedding jitters by playing golf at the South Head golf course. In order to get there he would of had to go through Parakai, where I used to live until I moved to the student accommodations. I know he went through Parakai, because it's the only way to South Head when coming up from Kumeu. I happened to be in Parakai visiting my mom in that day and had known nothing about it until I was back at home and read it in the newspaper the next day, though, Parakai was not mentioned, just Kumeu and the South Head Golf Course.
