As harsh as this sounds (and is), you've been an idiot. And a jerk too.
You've kissed your friend Kristen who likes you, when you have no romantic feelings towards her at all. Not only will this have confused her, but she's gonna feel pretty rejected too. I know people can't always explain their actions, but kissing a girl for who you have "no emotion or any other type of attachment twords" is pretty low.
Whether you should tell Sarah is a difficult question. If you are going to start going out with each other, honesty is the best policy. But perhaps it isn't, when it comes to kissing other girls.
You say your greatest moral is to not hurt peoples feelings, but that simply can't be true. Unless you don't stick to your morals, that is. It seems to me you will probably end up hurting them both.
Kristen may have thought something woulf happen between you two. She did just kiss the boy she fancies, after all. But wait... you don't have any feelings for her at all.
And Sarah? If she finds out, she won't be happy, even if she is a very understanding gal. If she doesn't... are you sure you like her that much if you'll just kiss someone you don't have any emotional attachment to? Who is to say you won't do something similar again?
Sorry to go on, but y'know... you've screwed up. I'd recommend telling Sarah exactly how you feel, how you really like her but made a mistake. She will hopefully appreciate your honesty, and even if it takes a bit of time, you will get together.
Alternatively, a threesome would be pretty fun.
