Ah-ha! Rice, a daily staple.

1 part long grain rice (usually 2-3 cups)
2 parts water
a few tablespoons of salt
eight or nine cloves of garlic
one or two tablespoons of butter

Bring to a boil, let simmer. Once done, take off the stove, add enough hot sauce so that you can feel the burn when you smell it, and she is good to go. Serves 4, or if your me, Serves one.

Oh, and just so you know, rice is much cheaper by the sack, usually beating out the bulk food serve yourself deal by several dollars.
