If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
It makes more sense now (and honestly, I wasn't aware of that news; I haven't been keeping up with things lately), but I hope that you don't refuse to admit that the post was open to interpretation.
"does anyone use freaking windows media player anymore? like the one that comes with windows 98, it plays music fine for me."
"No, and that's why people take Microsoft to court." (That was taken off the top of my head as opposed to being directly copied; if it's not exactly what you said, then I'm so dang sorry, please forgive me for my misdeeds.)
How could we have interpreted this vague sentence? Let's see:
1. People take Microsoft to court because people use Windows Media Player.
2. People take Microsoft to court because WMP comes with Windows.
3. People take Microsoft to court because WMP "plays music fine."
Now, keeping the news in mind, the correct choice would clearly be #2.. but I (and many others, I imagine) haven't been keeping up with something that barely even pertains to our country (you and I making the "our," as you were an American the last time I checked). Also, the way in which you replied made it seem as though the entirety of your post was meant to answer that question. Let me explain that:
1. Person asks yes/no question.
2. Other Person gives yes/no answer. If they seek to clarify, they may say, "Yes/No, because...," "Yes/No, but...," "Yes/No, and...," and so on.
"does anyone use freaking windows media player anymore?"
"No, and that's why people take Microsoft to court."
Perhaps a better way to have phrased your reply would be: "No, noone uses it anymore. Also, regarding it being included with Windows, people have taken Microsoft to court over that." And hey, if your Overpowering Intellect can find a way to further improve upon that, then feel free to adjust it appropriately.
Now then, do you understand why I claimed that you did not make sense, and do you now see how I make sense?
