Some girl in my art class brought in the Dragostea Din Tei song. It was awesome. And by awesome I mean crappy. But incredibly cool. Here's some linkage to the lyrics + an english translation. Romanian, judging by this song is surprisingly close to the romance languages. Anyway, I puzzled out from reading the translation:

Sunt eu = it's me
Implied subject, I guess, like Spanish. The conjugation of to be is pretty close to the french "sont."
Si = I (?)
That isn't especially close to the romance languages, but...
Un = a
Te = you (object)
Mea = mine (??)

Si sunt = I am
I can't imagine a language (besides english) where "to be" is conjugated the same in the first and third person. So perhaps si = he, and the dude is talking about himself in the third person. That'd be creepy.

And negation seems to be done with "nu", which is also close to French ("ne"). I could be completely wrong on all of this, lol.
