Assuming that the general Dink population knows about Windemere is a bit too much. AFAIK, there exists a *substantial* portion of Dinkers who never venture into the dank dark heights of this here Message Board, and rely on the main news page to inform them of all events. And Windemere hasn't been mentioned, I think.
Plus, don't get out the 'n00b cannon'... politely inform those who are new what Windemere is (as it is sort of confusing), don't just tell them to read up on it when there isn't really easy way to do so. At least you didn't do a WC, and I thanks yous for that.
