It is an urban legend according to the facts about getting an std. The bacteria has to have a warm moist place to live. And wouldn't the fact that the burger was cooked mean that the bacteria was killed? If of course it was cooked well done.
A person could theoretically quickly transmit the virus to an eye or their mouth but symptoms would not show up on the face by the next day. However, the Olive Garden dressing story sure made me shudder.
