What I meant was... a discussion of a heartfelt topic such as politics or religion on this forum (or almost anywhere else) is silly. You're not going to change anyone's viewpoints, nobody really knows why they are democratic/republican/christian/hindu/etc, and asking for proof/reasons why people are a certain way will just lead to the arguments you've heard hundreds of times, or to flames.
If I was truly apathetic, I'd simply not respond.
But I think I am starting to come across as awful grumpy lately.
