Okay. Well, I feel a little silly about having used the menus improperly, but I will still be grateful if using the "New Version" mode means that the upload "works" this time. The "Your version was added successfully, and it will be reviewed by a staff member soon." message that followed my upload certainly looked encouraging.
If not, send it to me, I've just discovered I can easily add versions to any file, no silly hacks needed, duh.
Okay, I don't think my internet service provider will tolerate me sending the (large file) dmod in email. If the above effort did fail, then I'll make it available to you on Google Drive.
