I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to.I guess. 
Um.. They need cool water to condence the super high pressure steam so that it will go in one direction, then it can be re-vaporized, blown through the turbine, and then recondenced yadda yadda yadda. Highly inefficent? Yes. Anything better? Not really..
Gotta love boilers..

Oh, yes, and NEVER try to do simulate this at home... Very very hot water-steam in a beaker over a burner at ~35ATM in a pressure lock that you think is circulating, but is not, causes problems. People stop being your lab partner in science for one...

Really, though, I don't have a death wish...
I just like high-explosives...
