those thumbs-downs didn't sway them from google+. it won't sway them from this. it's like the voting system here in the US - make it appear like the peoples' opinions on the matter are important to the corporate god, but in reality, the real decisions are made without their input at all.

google+ is still around much to the dismay of mostly everyone. it ducked up comments, it ducked up how accounts work, and it directly attacked privacy by asking for everyone's real name. that's something NSAbook has gotten away with.

this is a time where corporations will get away with whatever they want even if it's illegal. those thumbs-down will be laughed at by the old dinks that are in their own little bubble of reality. youtube is going to become more and more broken and google knows they can do it, too. they know they can do anything they want, even design something that flatout doesn't work. they're a monopoly. the only thing that will get to them is a real competitor. and that's not happening. ever.

(but on the topic of NSAbook, they want your real info just like google+ does. but they want it on an extreme level - they'll ask for an ID. that's illegal unless you are a grocery store, online store, cop, whatever.)
