No one feels sane all the time. However, what you need (and what we all need to work on during our lifetimes) is patience.
Patience is the greatest virtue.
Remember you are not the only person affected by impatience. You can try methods like these. They work for me.
+ Listen to your favorite soothing music on headphones.
+ Read a book you enjoy and/or visit the library, a place of silence.
+ Count to 10 before loosing your temper.
+ Do something to help someone else who needs more help than you, so you see your own troubles in a different light.
+ Eat a healthy snack. It is easier to be happy when your stomach is full.
+ Take a walk outside, stretch your legs in your favorite park.
+ Avoid sleepless nights by doing your best to fill your day to tire yourself out, then fall asleep reading in bed.
