Reply to Re: SSD vs HDD for Long Term Storage
If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
I don't think I can now. If I want to put everything back where it used to be, I'd have to rename over 3000 files that Windows has decided don't fit anymore.
EDIT: Despite the overwhelming numbers here, I am feeling somewhat safer about what I just did. I've put everything (I hope) back on the SSD. That folder I have a text document pointing to has files that don't fit on it though due to the file path/name limits, so I may have to rename some things to get absolutely everything in one spot again.
Then I guess I'll just get a regular harddrive to use as a storage thing because SSD is mysterious shit and there's even less definitive knowledge on them than HDDs it seems. At least with HDD, I know what temperatures are fine and that I should probably replace them every 3 years or so?
