You're right scratcher. All the people in Baldur's Gate are total dumbasses who should know better than to stay in the game.
Comes close to ignoring the warnings of a wise sage, ignoring evidence found in a temple, ignoring several people warning of some bad shit happening if you keep doing what you're doing, and ignoring the fact that what you're doing hasn't worked 5 times in a row to which the dumb fairy will always say "I don't know. I'll get it next time."

EDIT: As for Pikachu...well, everyone's dumb in Pokemon. Everyone. There's no roads connecting places, plenty of dangerous caves and forests between towns, a nearly nonexistent police force that does nothing, the entire world centers around making creatures shoot fire blasts or giant lightning bolts at one another over and over again which somehow doesn't kill them because I guess they're just too stupid to die.
Isn't it weird how there's free health care for Pokemon but no healthcare for humans at all unless there's some in the anime which doesn't count? The duck is keeping pokemon from targetting you once it takes out the pokemon you've been ordering to brutally murder other pokemon? How can you rush to the Pokemon center if you've blacked out?
