All things considered, RTSoft has been reasonably pleasant in their dealings with the modding community by releasing the source to the engine/scripts, as well as the freeware release, co-operation on 1.08 and helping with WinDinkEdit. Certain people have been excessively mean to Seth such as in this thread which hasn't helped anything.
However, I think getting us to test DinkHD without including any sort of development features (debugger, editor, or command line switches) was a bad idea, as most of us here tend not to bother using it.
