If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
First thing any expert or amateur ghost hunter/demonologist/psychic/et cetera must do in regards to anything potentially paranormal is to think of a way where evidence or experience can be rationally explained. Logically, one way of debunking this, or giving an explanation for it, is that they recorded near chickens. (As there is no further evidence or visual aspect to it.)
Were I able to download or otherwise acquire a copy of the audio, I'd filter out the background noise and listen to see if there was any obvious anomalous noise that cannot be easily attributed to normal auditory noise.
EDIT: And now that I think about it, chances are, that was your Soundcloud. If you can give me a copy of the original file, I'd gladly remove the noise so that everything else comes in clearer. (The noise being the static-like drone.)
In any case, chances are you're not going to experience any harmful events, as it's most likely a residual haunting, if there indeed is one. If any negative or harmful events transpire, I'd suggest burning sage, which cleanses and area of negative energy, and lining the outside with sea salt, which prevents negative energy from entering easily. (That is, if this is occurring in your own home.)
I was being only half serious with this post, Kris. I have isolated the noise and it just gives you a lower quality version of it and I don't want to tamper with the noise. It's certainly no chicken. It has an elongated echoing cry as if it's being tortured and it could very well be a turkey that's getting it. We have once done some burning sage since there is actual a spiritual presence in the room next to me and it didn't do anything at all, not like it's surprising.
Sounds more like a little barking dog. I don't know man. The neighbor's terrier learned to use a blowhorn?
Considering the sound, I guess one could come to the conclusion of a small dog like a chihuahua, but said dog would first need to undergo a demonic transformation.
