Well, I used the original DinkEdit back in the day, and I think the WinDinkEdit series is better in almost every way. That "almost" is down to the fact that in DinkEdit, you can use the [ and ] keys to cycle through all the sprites on a screen, so it's never hard or even impossible to select a sprite like it can be in WDE.
