First: I'm not babbling about it, while there are some furries who are Theri, the ones that I've talked to and even seen their FA account, they don't draw porn or R34 shoot. Also, a lot of forums that I've been to have had a lot of donkeys who berate me for so much as mentioning my artwork, calling me a fabulous furfag and whatnot, even if I show only a picture of a werewolf character. So, yeah. Internet is full of donkeys, but there are sites, like this one, that aren't.
But you are babbling about it. Otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation. The difference between me and the haters is that I'm not judging the entire therian community only because you do that. About the R34 stuff, it's impossible to say whether others are into things like that or not. It could just as easily turn out you're the only therian out of the group you're in, that isn't a furry and into R34. And I really have nothing against those people either, I was just pointing out that there are probably a lot of them in the therian community, and that is one of the major reasons therians think they're freaks.
Second: The reason why I get angry about it is because the way 'therianism' sounds makes it sound like a religion. It's not. Therianthropy is a person feeling that they are non-physically a different animal. Sure, there are people who think of it in a spiritual context, many Wiccans, pagans, even Christians. Many others think it's simply a mental thing (See Species Dysphoria.) And please don't be a snide jerkass because I have a tendency to nitpick.
Nothing there that changes the fact that you were being ridiculously pedantic. Almost like ThePunisher; ignoring the ACTUAL point I was making and picking up anything you could to argue against in my post.
Third: I did have a valid reason to bring it up. I was using it as an example. Here it is in context:
I stand up to what I truly believe whats right.
So does every Christian, and every Muslim, and every person whose viewpoint is different. Hell, I stand up for my belief that I am non-physically both a Dire Wolf and a Dragon, that the world is made of energy, that I am an empath, and that ghosts and spirits exist.
In context, it's a perfectly valid point. I do realize that you have no beef with me or any other Therian, and maybe if you want I could give you a link to the site I moderate so that you can see what we do within context. In any case, it would be best to drop the subject here before things get too out of control.
It was all well to the point of mentioning Christians, Muslims, even about your own beliefs of ghosts existing and that the world is made of energy. But you just HAD to bring up the therian stuff. There really wasn't a reason to do that at all. We all know you're one already, and it gets tiring to see you bring it up in every post. But most annoying thing is the reason you brought it up is obviously not so you could make a valid point, but to just let everyone know, once again, that you're a therian. Again, almost like ThePunisher. He keeps coming up with the most clever ways to badmouth religion and porn, while you come up with clever ways to get to mention that you're a therian.
When it's all said and done, it's kinda like homosexuals. I have nothing against them, but I don't like them being force-fed to me by the media, and especially by a homosexual person him/herself.
