SimonK can duck off giving CC2 a 7.9 or whatever he gave it. 100% BS and he knew it.
Funny, I've always thought the same way. Perhaps Simon knew CC2 was gonna be a threat to Pilgrim's Quest so he rated it that low on purpose. Looking at Scarab's score, if you removed Simon's review, it would probably have 9.7 as well.
I also agree that CC2 is better than Pilgrim's Quest. In fact, I don't really understand how PQ is rated so high. I think it's far from the best D-Mod ever. Not even SimonK's best; I much prefer SOB.
I've played many D-Mods through multiple times, but I've never managed to play PQ a second time without always getting bored within the first 15 minutes.
EDIT: Yep, just read his review again, and I must say it's kinda ridiculous. He said Initiation had a "definite edge" over CC2, which is a total lie. I'm not gonna say he can't like Initiation better, but in reality, Initiation lacks in every aspect that CC2 delivers in. Storyline, map, characters and gameplay. Besides, if you go according to his review on CC2 (enemies being too tough etc.), he should've rated his own D-Mods much lower. I must say I smell a little bit of a fraud there. xD
