I think piracy should be legal and DRM should be banned.
Eventually we could have a situation where a company makes a game, sells 1 copy, and everyone else gets it for free! Wouldn't that be great?
I guess it might drive prices up a bit though if the game developer wanted to stay alive... say to a couple of million pounds per copy.
Then we could all get together, pay £40 each towards it, buy 1 copy and then distribute it for free!

Maybe we're stuck with the way it is now, with gamers saying sane and reasonable things like "ITS NOT PIRACY THATS DESTROYING PC GAMING ITS ANTI-PIRACY MEASURES LIKE DRM BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY IF THEY JUST LEFT PIRACY TO BECOME THE NORM WE WOULDN'T HAVE ALL THESE PROBLEMS WHY DO THEY KEEP COMPLAINING ABOUT IT GRAAAHBLGARRRGHBLAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGHGHGHGHBBBPGRAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH"
