They should produce their own model based on the assumptions the enneagram makes. This makes more sense than taking psychometric assumptions that are not necessarily consistent with the enneagram. Their model should include all the things that make the enneagram distinct from other models, such as people have 'wings' (people are more similar to the types close to them than far), the way that types are affected by stress, etc. If they could just show that people classified as a certain type are relatively high on nearby types and low on far types that would be enormous support.
