Are you talking about hiphop? I think you am, so I guess I'll reply: Hiphop is more than that, in fact, hiphop is poetry, IF it's done right. Internal rhymes, metaphores, alliteration, all of these and more can be found in hiphop. But you won't find that in commercial rap, you have to dig deeper and seek out people like Mos Def, Rakim & KRS-One.

I don't really like too repetitive beats neither but atleast it's not as bad as house music.
