I don't have a problem with Steam or portable gaming consoles as long as you don't own an actual console. But if you own one, and just want the same games you already have, onto your PC and onto these portable devices, so you can just play them all the time, that's a game addiction and is a serious problem.

I dunno, maybe my friends wants to join me for a Super Street Fighter IV tournament on his comp? All you need is my Steam account with the game.

Online gaming is something I've never understood. If I bother calling my friend to hang out with me, I usually don't want to say "Let's hang out by playing a videogame from different sides of the town while messaging or talking via our headsets". Multiplaying is still fine, cause you are actually still hanging out with your friend, but I really despise online gaming.

You're right. This world is computeralizing (you said it lol). That doesn't mean I have to like it. I like the older ways of handling things, I'm old-school in that kinda way. Plus, the more this computer age develops, the more trouble it causes us. Already we're on the edge of "is computer causing more good or more harm". Imagine what it will be like in the next 10 years.
