Yeah I meant Rodent's Revenge. Also, I forgot worms, cannon fodder, jill of the jungle, blake stone, prince of persia, and raptor.
For PC games, I find it interesting that Wolfenstein 3D (the first popular first person shooter) only goes back to 1992. The first commander keen was released in 1990. Fallout was 1997! For the NES and SNES on the other hand, super mario was released in 1985, legend of zelda in 1986, mega man and final fantasy in 1987, super mario world in 1990 (same year as commander keen!), and final fantasy 6 in 1994. The NES probably had more classic and genre defining games than the PC during 1985-1990.
