Due to concerns expressed by certain worried parents, the Dink Network staff has decided that the amount of blood and carnage present in the aforementioned contest is simply not acceptable. Here at the Dink Network, we have always strived to uphold and encourage the creativity and freedom of our modders, but some things are just not okay. There are a lot of young children who play Dink, and they might be seriously hurt for life. Think of the children.
Do not worry, though! We are still very much looking forward to your carnage contest entries, just change all blood into either smilies or flowers. Flowery carnage is still carnage, and just as cool- if not more so- than bloody carnage.
Mr. Sparrowhawk, deeply troubled by the impact certain dmods could have on the young ones of the Dink Network, has taken the first steps to ensure that our community is a happier place for Dinkers of all ages to enjoy:
