Sorry if I sound to negative, but for running DMODs under windows I feel the same way. Mainly because I like to have the DFArc program in the same folder as my main Dink install and for that to work I had to copy all the .dll files there too which clutters my main Dink folder. Also, in options it would only let me choose between Dink.exe and Dinkedit.exe as Dink programs or editors, even though I have windinkedit.exe and windinkeditplus.exe in my main install too. Another thing I noticed is that the 'v1.07 mode' is available even if you're not using freedink. So in practice it means that someone might think he's running v1.07 mode when he actually isn't.

Now for linux things might be totally different (I have limited experience on it) but for working under windows I haven't found any advantage large enough for me to use it over DFArc2...

Nonetheless it's great to see it still in development... Maybe the things I'm mentioning now will be fixed some time.
