How'd I get the game... *thinks*
Well, in mid-1998, I played the Dink demo that was included with one of the PC Gamer US discs. I thought it was quite a bit of fun. Alas, I didn't have the net, so I had no way to purchase it.
Then in September 1999... my family got internet access! Yay. So I lurked around gaming sites for a while, reading news and such but avoiding communities. Near the end of that year, though, I discovered Dink and consequently jumped into its small, friendly community. Then the community was surprisingly unfriendly for a year mainly due to my presence.
And yeah, I've been here since then. I've only contemplated leaving once.
