how does this sound for a book seires,

a boy learns that he will go on an archaeological dig with his father, but when he finds a strange amulet he is transported to a different dimension, full of half dragon people.

does it sound totally awesome?

I suggest future,with lasers,blast canons,robots....But tha dragon people shouldn't live in some future buildings but in futuristic hidden caves But the backround should look medieval.Well,that's what i think.Hope i have been usefull

it can't have caves, that would be too easy. i would have to descirbe the caves as 'dark cold and wet' every time, maybe they would have MEDIEVAL HOUSES.

krisknox,in my opinion it will be better if the action is set in the medievil time.It will fit more if the dragonmen live in some kind of caves and eat human beings for fun .

Yes,that is how i think too.But i still stick to my opinion about the caves.You don't have to make them old and stuff.You can make them futuristic whith virtual stuff and maybe the caves could be intelligent.Use your mind

I did write the book. This helped me work some kinks out in the basic starting of the plot.

When the entire saga spans over twenty books, you need to restart a few times.
Besides, may good authors spend years working on a single book just to make it good.

my shitty thing has 4 and i'll probably be like 45000 by the time i get started on 4.

I didn't plan anything. I simply wrote until things happened.
Besides, with my Fallen Moon saga having likewise over twenty books and crossing over with Unfound, around eight books, and Amulet... Well, there's a lot of continuity to sift through.

i don't think he was actually doing any time travelling, really.

Maybe Kris can post a link or something so we can read the books and have Skurn 'criticize' them, I could always use new reading material and Skurn's probably run out of toilet paper.
