I know! My geography teacher told me that! Like in Africa they poor because they can sell only for low prices! The buyers have only the low price if the dont want to buy no one will!
Example:
You sell candy.
Other sell it for 10$ but you for 3$!
The mafia or someone will shot you or something bad is going happen to you because all the poeople are buying from you.
The moral: You cant sell low than the other shops

regarding to the original question, the reason why Walmart sells for less b/c they are so cheap on benefits and labor. I have a friend that works there and they have HMO Insurance (really bad) at best for health. I don't know if they have other benefits. Without the high labor costs and good benefits, walmart can sell it at ridiculous LOW prices like a king size candy bar for $.69 from where I live instead of $1.09 at a stupid white hen pantry. Also Walmart is non union.
As for the other questions, I am not going to answer so I'll let the other dinkers answer that one.
