Does anyone plays Silent Hill series? If yes then please discuss here. I'm playing now Silent Hill on PSX. It really SCARES MORE than Resident Evil and Dino Crisis series! I almost take a s**t on my pants playing it. Dark...Scary sounds and music...and scenes that makes you be afraid of dark when you go to sleep. Except 1st part i have 2 and 4.

I haven't played it but I've wanted to for some time now... I have just seen the movie.

I haven't played any of the Silent Hill games, but I must say I've been pretty disappointed with most modern survival horrors that I've tried. Too many zombies jumping out of nowhere, too little atmosphere. It also kinda kills the horror when your character is some random vietnam veteran more than capable of taking care of himself.

i want to play it too.Killing monsters and zombies is my style.But what about Painkiller?

Painkiller it's a Polish Serious Sam style game but you're in hell. Anyway in Silent Hill there aren't any zombies but weird and scary monsters like...Pendulum in Silent Hill 3.
BTW scratcher play the first part of Silent Hill i bet you'll be scared cause the music and other things fits perfectly.

And i'm going to complete SH1 a the BEST ending!(Good+)

Can you tell me more about Silent Hill because i want to play it and i need some info.

Well the first part of Silent Hill tells about Harry Mason who with his own daughter Cheryl went to the vacation on Silent Hill. While riding the car the Policewoman passed him and then later Henry saw that police motorbike lies on the ground and the policewoman is missing. While watching the road from the shadows surpisly appears a young girl and Henry turns to the left and he had an accident. When he wokes up he saw that Cheryl is missing. After leaving the car it's starting to snow and he's in Silent Hill but...All people are gone.

Second part is about that James Sunderland gets a message from his wife but she died 4 years ago and the message is new. It wrotes about the Silent Hill who James promised his wife to visit again. Our hero went's there and like in SH1 no one isn't there but fog and monsters.

Third part is that Heather Morris goes shopping. While in there she went to eat something. After that she fell asleep. She always doesn't remember her own dreams but now this one is real that she doesn't understand. Then the red light shines on the restaurant. After the small talk with own father on the phone she thought that someone is here. It was a Man who asked weird questions. Heather took off that man for good then she saw that is night.

The fourth part tells about Henry Townshend who is trapped in Room 302. No one didn't hear him or see! He's izolated from the world. All phones and TV's are broken. Then he felt the mysterious aura which cannot be ignored. Later he heard a noise from the bathroom. There's a hole on the wall and he thought that leads to freedom but he's wrong. It leads to the Other world.

The fifth part (Silent Hill Origins) is the same as SH1 but this time you play as a Travis Grady who doesn't have any kids and long time ago he saved Alessa Gilespie from the fire.

Heh, cool... I recently got the fifth installment, though I have no system to play it on. Such are the perks of my job.

But considering the amount of time that Oblivion (now that I uncorrupted my save from over a year ago) and Gothic 3 will eat away at my life till I'm nothing more than a hollow shell of a human being, it's probably a good thing I don't own a PS2 anymore.

Is there a decent community patch out for Gothic 3 yet?

I don't know, it's up to 1.6 (updated last February) and I heard it's being assisted by Spellbound, the company that took over Gothic from Piranha Bites. I haven't installed the game... I'm just trying to blast through Oblivion as fast as I can before starting G3. I've gotten through the main quest, the Thieves Guild, and the Dark Brotherhood, but am still working on the Fighters and Mages Guilds and the Knights of the Nine.

No problem. Now i'm going to play the second part on PC. BTW how's playing one of these part soulman?

I'll remind that Silent Hill 2, 3, 4 are on PC. Origins on PSP and SH1 on PSX but there is also a PC version.

Anyway when i watched the normal ending of SH3 i was suprised...Why? Cause Heather's real name is CHERYL!(Play SH1 and complete with Good Ending or Good+ Ending to know more)

P.S If anyone have problems with completeing the first part and how to get a good ending discuss here!
