The Dink Network

The basketball summer came to a close only 1 hour ago. We played in the Grand Final for the second year running (if you were here some time last year, you would've seen we won the last one). We played excellent (my Dad said so himself, and he's coach ) but, unfortunately, we did not win. We came awfully close, the final score being 30-35. However, we may have won if I was not fouled off in the last 2 minutes or so.

After the game, we congratulated the other team, blah blah, and then we went to the presentation room. Our team got some pretty medals for running up, and the other team got some even prettier trophies (like we got last year).

Now for the best bit. Guess who got MVP (Most Valuable Player)?

Yep, that's right, it was me. I got a nice shiny trophy, saying:

Then I was congratulated by all my fans- er, I mean, supporters, and went home.

So, in the end, I felt really good. Yeah, I lost, but I got MVP! And besides, I lost to a very worthy team. Except for one guy, he was a bit agro...
