Anybody on the Dn fancy themselves at chess? I would like to play some people at the DN at chess, as it would be more fun than playing someone you don't know online.

Anybody use AOL, and interested?

Just give me a time, place and means, and I'll gladly meet your challenge.

You can play on the DN message board, just by submitting your moves (then move the pieces on your physical chess boards at home, if you need them. ). Then everybody can follow the game, you get plenty of time to think, and it will turn into one of the longest threads on the board every.

I've got a better idea!!

go to www.wingames.com

scroll down to bottom. you will see "internet board games for 2". download it, run it,

configure hoster/joiner and you are on! choose checkers, chess, backgammon and more!(note: this is only the shareware version of the game, wich lets you play only five times!!!)
