survival the D-mod
Survival
I have looked everywhere for the "save
machine"? From what I've read theres supposed to be one. I also got the impression that Dink can get a map. Is this right? Can anyone help? From what I've played, it's pretty cool!

From what I remember, this is just an unfinished D-Mod with a neat intro, and nothing to do after that.
As far as I know it's really a development file; the object of the game being to keep Dink from starving!
That's why I posted the question about the
"save bot"; I'd rather find and use it, then have to restart after I got bored.

If you had posted this message in the correct forum (you posted it as related to "... his ancestor 1239"), I may have been able to understand what you were talking about. Thankfully, another kind staff member decided to move your post to the correct file.
There's no savebot, I forgot to put it in .

how do i cook food? even though the firplace is there and i'm burning logs too, i can't cook the fish? and the nuts and berries and duck meat don't replenish me.
To cook something you need to take it out of your bag and then go to the fireplace/fire. Those things may not have been intended to replenish your life, but to replenish your hunger (new stat introduced in this 'game'). If you don't eat for awhile, your stats will suffer and you will eventually lose life. If you keep Dink well fed, he will have nice stat boosts.
You should check out the readme.txt file included in the DMOD folder. It explains everything very well.

Why are you don't comlete this "demonstration" to a DMOD with quest or works?
Cooking is for women. That's why it's left unfinished.
