What's wrong with Fileplanet?
There used to be two public servers for non-subscribers, but now there's only one and that one always has a waiting time. 
When they had two, there was no waiting time - well, almost never!

See, when a bunch of people are downloading from Fileplanet, you have to wait in line to get the file. Yes, the 30-minute waits are painful, but it usually results in a good download speed. (Though that doesn't really compensate for the waiting, now does it?
)
If you're rather impatient, then you could try the WCNET, though it usually doesn't work for me.

Just looking my server has been on 36 hours straight, but the users on the dink FTP are maxed out at 10.

WCNet is A LOT slower for me because i have cable, but i use it any way because i'm sick of logging in, because my computer won't accept the cookies and I don't like waiting. For big files i'll still prolly use FilePlanet.

WCNet is A LOT slower for me because i have cable, but i use it any way because i'm sick of logging in, because my computer won't accept the cookies and I don't like waiting. For big files i'll still prolly use FilePlanet.
