The swear filter is present for a reason, presumably to shield younger virgin eyes and whatnot... even though we do get the occasional pre-pubescent DinkKiller who likes to spill as many of those new and exciting swear words as humanly possible.

Why, my friends, do you see fit to bypass the swear filter? I for one am completely indifferent toward it, but the Ultimate Will of the Walma brings forth great truth and enlightenment, so tell me... why? Even when your words are filtered, it is easily understood by those "in the know" what you are saying.

Why pass the swear filter, only to apologize for doing so in the very same post? It defeats the whole point of having a swear filter. A few people need their heads cracking. Twangers.

EDIT: Umm... a certain word beginning with W isn't included in the filter, so I changed my post. I guess the word is pretty much an English one and not really used in America.

Yeah, but I feel that in that particular post I could not have made my point come across the way I wanted to without bypassing it. It was ABOUT swearing for crying out loud.

I've always thought that swear filter is not here to shield virgin eyes(like 12year olds). Nowadays they already know more then they should(this is not the only site they visit).

Honestly, I really don't want to read those kinds of words, as they are often used only immaturely. If I read a thread with them, I'll usually start to close the thread, as there's not going to be anything of value in the thread.
