I just killed a silver beastie in the sewer that left behind a pair of boots. I have tried everything I could think of to pick them up, but nothing happens. Also, the screen is locked, which means that, if I quit before I get an answer that works, I lose what time I already put in this session.

Help!!

Is there a way to get the grass boots?

Have you tried moving over them or pressing space on them?

I tried all that. Nothing worked.

My recollection is that stepping on them should pick them up.

That's what I meant by moving over them.

I never figured out what to do down there, like with the lightning thing and the boots. Thats probably why I was only able to get two of the endings

I guess I'll have to take up playing this one again...
