Spirit of Giveaways
Around this time of year, there are quite a few contests, giveaways, etc. around the 'net for some good stuff. I've searched for and entered as many as I can, and just for the heck of it, I've decided to share whatever I find with you folks. Unfortunately, most (if not all) of these are only open to North Americans.
1. Logitech Cordless Keyboard/Mouse Giveaway

Prize: 20,000 people get to win a wireless keyboard/mouse outta this deal, which is cool as can be. Also, you can enter as many times as you like, so you can do a lot of Backing in your browser..

2. Morrowind Holiday Giveaway

Prize: You could net Morrowind, its Tribunal expansion, and a GeForce4 Ti 4600 video card (!), or (if you're crazy, IMHO) an Xbox and Morrowind for the Xbox. A lot of Dinkers around here seem to enjoy Morrowind, and it's received many rave reviews, so you may want to check this out.
3. Star Wars Bounty Hunter Sweepstakes

Bounty Hunter has been given mixed reviews, however (from 8/10 at IGN to 2/10 from a UK magazine known as Edge), so you may want to think twice about this. Personally, I just want a Gamecube
4. Color Playstation 2 Giveaway

Prize: Out of this giveaway, you can get a PS2. This isn't an ordinary PS2, though...you could get a Super Red, Metallic Silver, Light Yellow, Snow White, or Star Blue PS2. If you're really lucky, you could get all 5.
5. Star Fox Desktop Commander Sweepstakes

Ends Dec. 31st, open to U.S. residents 13 or older.
Prize: You could win a Gamecube and a copy of Star Fox Adventures, a well-received Gamecube game, among other things. However! You must download a program that changes your desktop wallpaper to Star Fox wallpaper, and it does so every 10 minutes...if you spot a "secret code" in the wallpaper, you rush to the contest site and enter it for a chance to win.
