IDRTW
If Ducks Ruled the World
Has anyone ever beaten this dmod? By the time I got the sword, the game is over! I like to level-up a bit, so 1 pillbug hit doesn't kill me. Could someone make a patch to extend the time limit? The only way I can see to come close to winning; is to cheat, and for some reason--cheats don't work on my machine (I've tried many times with no luck).
Sure, it really isn't a very long dmod. It's your levelling up that takes so much time, no doubt.
To extend the time limit open the idrtw\story\main.c file and edit the following line:
make_global_int("&endgame", 60);

Thanx Scratcher, I'll try it, but I'm not holding my breath--I can't seem to get cheat files, or modifications(sp.) to work! Belive me I've tried! P.S. How long does this extend the game?
Hi, me again. I found the "main.c file", but when I went to open it I got this message: "THE DOCUMENT'S FORMAT IS INVALID OR NOT SUPPORTED." I then went to "OPEN DOCUMENT FOR PREVIEWING" and got the same message. Can you help?
Which program are you trying to use to open it? You should use notepad.
could you please tell me HOW to do that? Thanx. You have to know that I

I downloaded the file CEDIT, but now how do I use it? Or is it automatic?
You can just right click on the c. file and click on open with. You can select Notepad from there.
Thanx, I'll try that. I did what you said, but I still get the same message(see above).
Are you sure that you're not trying to open main.d in the folder Dink Smallwood\Dink\STORY?
the path should be something like Dink Smallwood\idrtw\story
If that's not working try CEDIT like Carrie proposed (it's my favorite scripting program too ) Use the same method clicking on the file and selecting 'open with.

That's strange, it should work. Maybe there's something wrong with the game or your computer?
