The Dink Network

While I was trying to complete all the tasks for entering the final maze, I entered this area near the base of the plateau where Dink just stepped into the water and onto the maze. I could also walk freely on the water from island to island in the maze. Was this supposed to happen? I only completed two of the tasks, but I managed to find the temple where the crystal is. After I got the crystal though, Dink entered this blank, dark screen which I presume is the ending. No Scourger. Nada. What's going on?

That's very weird... It isn't supposed to be possible to walk on the water, and walking from island to island should definitly not be possible. So what you have encountered is some sort of bug, though I can't find the source of the problem yet...

About the black screen: I can imagine that happening if you've not completed all of the tasks...

The only thing I can advise you to do is to load an old savegame and try to complete the tasks and finish the game the way it should.

Oh, and one more question, which version of Dink where you using? It might help me to replicate the bug. (If you play Dink or a DMOD the version is displayed on the bottom of the titlepage)

This is definetly a hardness bug.

I'm playing v1.08.

Oh well, too bad. I was really enjoying this Dmod and would have liked to finish it.
