Guild Funeral Crashing in WoW.

What happened was these two guilds in a MMORPG hated one another and constantly flamed on message boards. When one guild had a member die in real-life they held a "funeral" where everyone of that guild gathered in a line and payed there respects by talking about how much they enjoyed the person. During that time the rival guild gathered and traveled all the way to the funeral site where they crashed the party and started a huge battle. The attacking guild had only about 1/3 the members, but they were all high level and the defending guild had triple the players, but they were all low level.

No seriously this is hilarious. I mean just the idea of them crashing a funeral is funny, but the music choice and choreagraphy was perfect.

I would kinda feel sorry for the person who died and the players paying there respects, but I would like to think that they all had a good laugh and the deceased is laughing at it too.

I recently read about this travesty and dont find it funny at all... this is one of the reasons i refuse to play MMOs because of all the a-holes out there. This funeral service was made well known to both sides so that anyone could come and make their respects to the deceased. Sure it was in contested territory so the attacking guild had full rights to attack.. but the territory was also the favorite territory for the deceased girl and that's why they had it there. And no, i doubt the massacred guild had a good laugh, they were trying to mourn over the loss of a friend and were ambushed, a very low blow in my book.

ROFLMAO YEAH MY CHINESE FRIEND Hung Tay was one of the guys who killed the ppl in the funeral! He was beside me hes like Dude we're going to crash these funeral and I laughed so hard when all the people got killed I didnt know this thing was made into movie!!

dragon, I was with a guy who was one of the attacking members we both laughed so hard when all of the defenders died man it was so funny! And we were talking to the guy who was waiting at the funeral on MSN and telling him wehn to attack hahahaha it IS funny but I do really REALLY feel sorry for the dead girl, but I suspect she had a real funeral in real life, and those guys didnt crash a real funeral it was just an in-game funeral and they could all pay there respects anytime amongst eachother, if they do it in a game where u can be ambushed it sort of is them asking to be ambushed. Hung tey and the rest of them debated weather to attack after it was done or during it, and they decided to attack during it. So just remember it wasnt a REAL funeral so its not that disrespectful, and I feel really sorry for the dead girl and so does Hung Tey prob everyoneelse in the clan. But those guys who got kiled prob were angry... o well!

The sad truth comes up. You respect someone, and someone else comes and f*cks it all up.

And this is why I never play mmorpgs. Because people are fudgeing donkeys. And they should die in a fire.

/edit, I see that the donkey filter still works.

It has more to do with the fact that you have to pay money to play the game, that's why people want to get as much 'value' out of their money by behaving like... Donkeys?

Free mmorpgs (or atleast without a monthly fee) might be a solution, but in general I prefer playing games multiplayer with just my friends, it's usually more fun that way.

I find that highly disrespectful, but what can ya do? If I had even the slightest suspicion that someone might come along and meddle with such affairs, I'd find a more private method of honoring the deceased.

My post was deleted. Oh well, no biggie. I was only expressing myself to how big of jerks people can be.
