I prefer WinDinkedit and WinDinkedit Plus (preferably the latter). It's a lot easier to do that sort of thing in them.

I never really changed to Windinkedit...I've got it but I only use it for deleting screens and copying them. It probably is a lot easier.

And btw..when I used it once and opened the properties of a sprite and put in a script, as soon as I'd close it and open it again the script was gone...any1 know why?

I don't know but I tested it in both WinDinkedit and WinkDinkedit Plus on my computer and got different results. With WinDinkedit Plus it wouldn't let me save the edited script with the excuse that it was being used by another program, even though it wasn't. Then with WinDinkedit it let me save it without problems. In neither of the instances did it disappear.

ok..i understand now. I'm used to writing my script and then just attaching them...in seperate programs. If you just attach a script to a sprite in WinDinkedit plus it disappears but if you edit it first then it stays.

But for now I dont feel like going through all the in's and outs of win dinkedit so ill just continue the way i have!

an thanx for checkin' btw
