The Dink Network

The incredible edible gamehampe has sent along WinDinkEdit Plus, his own spin on Gary Hertel and WC's highly-praised Windows-based Dink editor. The "Plus" in the title might have you thinking this helps mathematically-challenged D-Mod developers with their basic addition skills, but that would be an unfortunate misconception; the WDE update actually fixes a few bugs and adds features such as a snap-to grid, a built-in script editor, and various other things.

Cool tool.
But I have some trouble after a while of using it: the menu's content of EVERY program I use after using WDE+ gets "blacked", like if in paint I used the fill black color on the menus options. Passing the mouse over those options gets the black color out temporarily, but after that, the prob still remains.

I haven't taken the time to load it, but if it doesn't warn you that you are working on (and trying to unsuccessfully save over) a read only file, so you don't lose 4 hours of tedious mapwork, that would be a nice feature.

Does anyone who's tried this think it's any good? I'm wodering since I noticed it hasn't been reviewed yet. Usually good stuff is reviewed by now.

I downloaded it today and tried it and I thought
it was awesome.I just wrote up a review for it too.

I've just began to look at it and it seems better than WinDinkedit, which I rated 9.9 in my review of it.

Mind you I reviewed my decision of what WinDinkedit got and decided that 9.0 was a more deserving rating (I've had more experience with it so know its quirks better). I've also reviewed WinkDinkedit Plus and rated it 9.5.

So, gamehampe, I was wondering if you'll be releasing the source for WinDinkedit Plus the way the WinDinkedit source is available.
