The point is that good DMODs have been released this year. But no excellent DMODs. Making excellent DMODs requires something extra. That is the point made in the other thread.

I've decided that instead of 'never' making another dmod again, I simply
will not make another one until after Mr.smarty pants(Tal) makes his first one.
Which I expect will be a 'very good for a first try but still crappy' dmod
which I will force myself to endure playing.Then I will write up a fair, but
crappy review and all will be well in the world.Well, at least it'll be a bit
more even.
The only reason Mr.Smarty pants hasn't made a dmod yet is because he knows
it would be crapppppppppyyyy and he'd have to come down off his high horse and
admit he's no better than the rest of the dmod makers he's been hacking on.

Can you make an exception and make that Halloween DMOD? Or Tal, can you release an "abcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyz"-type DMOD, so Carrie can release her DMOD? I promise I'll give you a 9.9 for it.

The Red Jacket Murders WAS my halloweenish dmod.It had ghosts,bats,jack-o-lanterns and even a graveyard.
EDIT: I do have another story idea based on a weird dream I had many years ago...but I haven't started any new dmods at the moment.

Actually I already started on another dmod.Got the first couple intro screens done and am beginning work on the countryside now.I even have a story idea mostly worked out.

Yes, my newest DMOD is nearly ready for testing. But I'm thinking about not releasing it so Tal will make a DMOD.
