The guy from the hotel told me about the larvae trick, but I couldn't find them. I saw on the map where a larva is, and it's on vision 1, but when I walk on that screen, it's not there.

If it's appears for a second and then disappears instanly, you might already have it. When I played it, I got the larvea before I talked to the guy who told me the trick. But if you looking for gold, you can pick up lead at TILE rocks, not sprite ones.

I picked up lead, but I can't get more than 300 gold. The larvas appears for a second and then disappears instanly as you said, but I can't remeber picking them and they aren't in my inventory. Anyway, let's pretend I have them. How do I plant them?

You equip them, walk into the heaps dirty room in the hotel and use them like your fists. The larvae while suddenly appear. Then you go downstairs and you hear the sound of a pillbug and the innkeeper goes "Those dang scary pillbugs are back!" Talk to him and offer to help him. Go back, there's like 5 pillbugs. Kill 'em, go back and get your 200(?) gold.

Aha. I had completely forgotten about that part of the game.

I think the larva may only appear when you have so much gold... like around 250 or 300.

I bought the sword and went to the church. In the catacombs, my windows crashed three times. Every times the computers restarts and tells me something like "The system was recovered after a serious error". The problem is that the three crashes weren't in the same places. Two of them occured wile fighting pillbugs(in different screens), and the other while pushing the fountain.

A small minority of people have reported crashes in the catacombs before, but I've never experienced it, and I'm not sure what causes it.

As mentioned on the download page, FIAT is full of game-crashing bugs, and a new version is (slowly) being worked on.
