Versions
In designing the next version of The Dink Network, I'm thinking of requiring version numbers to be similar and consistent.
So... no more 'v0.99f' or 'The Fun Version.' Version numbers would have a major and minor component, exactly like the version numbers of Dink Smallwood (v1.07 and v1.08 and such). Major version number changes would be limited to huge changes in a file, to be decided by a staff member.
Version numbers would also be part of the file name. My reasons for keeping the version numbers out of the filename stem from wanting to keep track of how many times a D-Mod was downloaded back when we were hosted on Telefragged and RPGPlanet. Now that isn't a factor.
Any thoughts?

I assume you mean for DMods? I think that would be fine, but would you be able to have 0.100? Or 1.100?
I'd prefer to have it for all files, including D-Mods.
And I'm not sure about the 1.100 thing... probably not. The only files I can think of where that might be an issue are FIAT and Cloud Castle 2, hrm.

EDIT : I said something that didn't make much sense. Ignore me.
But I concur with your plans, Redink. It will make things a lot clearer.
