Dennis has sustained 125 mph winds right now making a Category 3 hurricane and is moving 15mph in my direction. I live right on the water on the Mississippi Gulf Coast so we are about to get she dog slapped by this thing. Its supposed to make landfall right over me tommorrow afternoon. We have battened down my house and we are going to move north about 5 miles just to get off the beach because I have seen a hurricane from the beach...it aint pretty. Hopefully everything will turn out ok, my house has stood up before and it should probably have a chance to maybe almost in a way stand up to this one . If you want to check out my location, go to the weather channel and look for pascagoula mississippi. You'll see how its running right on me. I gotta leave in a few hours so I wont get to post for a few days. Hope I get to post some more .

Er, my only advice is that you should look for high ground. When it rains heavily hear, I should try to do the same, but I live on some of the flattest ground on the earth. So yeah. Indeed. Kapow

Yay!! I am alive. My house receieved little or no damage as I can tell. At the last minute I decided to go over to friends (who was actually closer to the beach than my house ) And had a hurricane party and when we walked out side it was gone and we had blown 100 dollars on various snack foods that we consumed in a matter of 5 hours. It was fun and I got the great chance to play "chase the hat" in 50-60mph winds (lotsa fun) and won after wadeing through waist deep water w00t!!...

... good to hear your house is alright though it seems you didn't care that much about what would happen
