Yeh, that's the story everyone knows and hears though there are reasons to doubt the official story. I'm not saying this page has the true story but it's an interesting read nonetheless If you can't be bothered to read it all, read only page 4 to get a summary.

Guys, guys, come on. An "Eclipse set for same day as Pope's funeral."????
Now I know the guy was powerful but who the heck set that up?

Edit: and yeah I know it can be read the other way. But it should have read something like.."Eclipse happens on same day..etc."

I don't know...the Vatican is pretty powerful.

it's kinda creepy how they keep the guy for display for a week... I wonder if they use ice to prevent him from starting to rot.

If they can set up eclipse's they don't need ice.

Have you ever begin reading the bible? Even that makes God out to be a harsh dictator... I remember randomly opening it up and finding a story about some guys taunting a prophet so the prophet got God to summon bears to maul the taunters to death... hahahahahaha

Doesn't anyone care that God might make bears maul us?
