idea
i click on the development section just to check it out and its pretty stupid to see 100 "whatever dmod source, whatever dmod graphics pack" i have an idea INCCLUDE THEM WITH THE ORIGINAL DMOD, whats the point of making 50 files unless you are plainly a point whore like redink1.
simonK doesnt count cause at least his stuff is of naked people
I agree. I actually think story in .d format and bitmaps in .ff archives shouldn't be allowed...
So when you release your next DMOD keep it as .c and .bmp files - it's a free world (at least where I live).
everything is free, it just depends what wants to stop you.
That is the most philosophically true statment Ive read her yet...quote it.

Except for the second law of thermodynamics. It's never free, and if your lucky you'll almost get it all back...
Though I prefer d-mods with open source, it really has to be up to the developer whether they let others see their scripting.
I'll always leave my scripts in .c form, and I'm even starting to annotate them properly (WTF!?!) so others will be able to understand them.
Each to their own I guess. Oh, unless you're a communist.

im not even arguing against hiding your source code (although i do dislike it) im saying whats the point of doing that so you can just release another file with the normal scripts? seems rather silly to me. why dont we release more garbage to fill up our development section?
how about i make a new dmod called goof troop then release goof troop graphics pack, goof troop scripts pack, goof troop midi pack, goof troop tile pack, goof troop conversation #1 text file, goof troop conversation #2 text file etc.

hiding source codes has benefits I mean that way you can't edit the code and get ahead in the game also its good for when you put in anti cheating scripts.
Actually Josh, midi packs aren't allowed so you won't be able to do that awesome Goof Troop midi pack of yours
Unless, of course, he composed all the midis himself, which he is perfectly capable of
Ahh, I thought this would be about using convicted criminals and terminally ill patients as "stuntmen" in movies to make them more realistic.
